Dr. Luke is
an American songwriter,
record producer,
and musician who was born
in New York. He
has co-written and co-produced a string of commercially successful songs and was named one of the
top ten producers of the decade by Billboard in 2009. He has written
songs for a lot of pop artists such as Jessie J, Katy Perry, Britney Spears,
Kesha, and Cher Lloyd. These artists are all pop artists which fits into our
genre, most artists in the charts at the moment wont have written their own songs
so these producers come from big record labels who pay song writers to keep
producing more and more songs and then the artists record the ones they like
and eventually release them.
